In 1977, fresh out of Emory University, Jeff Kaston embarked on his lifelong jewelry adventure selling watch-straps out of the trunk of his car. Today he operates one of the most trusted full service jewelry providers in the New Orleans metro area.
Many people ask us where the name “Béjé” originated. It’s actually a fusion of “Betsy” (Jeff’s wife) and “Jeff” with a little French twist. Betsy has always gotten top billing throughout Jeff’s life.
For over 45 years Béjé has offered unmatched wholesale diamond and jewelry prices to the public. Our determined mission to provide unparalleled education and service to our clients has allowed up to grow each year by word of mouth alone. We don’t believe shopping for jewelry should be a stressful endeavor, but instead the beginning of the means in expressing the perfect message that will reverberate for a lifetime.
The Future of Béjé
Today Jeff’s son, Josh, and daughter-in-law, Mia, accompany Jeff in expanding the future of Béjé. Mia’s fine designer collection has been exhibited in galleries in New Orleans, New York, and Denver.
